African Parachute Plant | Ceropegia sandersonii
Ceropegia sandersonii, also known as African Parachute plant, is a trailing semi-succulent and semi-carnivorous plant native to Mozambique, South Africa, and Swaziland.
The plant's parachute-shaped flowers are an insect trap that gives off a scent to attract flies down the flower tube, where they become trapped.
The fly is released when the flower weakens and dies. The fly takes with it the pollen from the flower.
