Water
Summer water: thoroughly when 50% of the soil has dried through.
Autumn/ Winter water: every 2-3 months when soil is 100% dry
Spring: Increase water gradually

Bright and sunny. Give Rat Tail prime position in your sunniest window
Feed
Every 3 months when in active growth. Use a cacti/succulent feed.
Repotting
Every 3 years, or when the pot is obviously too small.
