One of the most popular Mediterranean medicinal plants, calendula helps to stimulate collagen production, it has antioxidant, antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and helps to regulate sebaceous oil production. It is widely used in ointment creams for minor cuts and grazes, inflamed skin or acne.

 Oil macerated with calendula flower heads is highly prized for making cold process soap, body and bath oil and creams.
