The design of the Roma Vase Vert Fumé is inspired by La Soufflerie's famous statement vase, the Vase Tête. Only it's larger, which makes it the perfect size for a carafe!
The Roma Vase Vert Fumé is molded in the likeness of a Roman head and mouth-blown from 100% recycled glass.
These are entirely made by hand and each creation is unique. Therefore, there may be a slight variation in colour, texture, and size between each piece. On the base of each item, you can feel the pontil mark left by the glassblower’s cane. The presence of this mark indicates that the glass was blown freehand. This is the beauty of handmade.
Pigmented glass is mixed into the furnace during the glassblowing. This means that the glass itself is coloured instead of painted. Our glass is durable and no changes or fading occur with continued use over time.
Care:
We do recommend handwashing as much as possible to avoid scratches from the dishwasher and to keep the glass sparkling. But, know that our glassware is dishwasher resistant and can be cleaned in the dishwasher
